SAF has partnered with Massachusetts General Hospital’s (MGH) Hair Academic Innovative Research (HAIR) Unit led by Dr. Maryanne Senna, board-certified dermatologist and hair loss expert, to train and educate hair salons and their personnel about hair loss disorders.
Be sure to email the Certificate of Completion that you receive after successfully completing the training and contact information (stylist name, salon name, salon links – website and social media) to SAF at info@scarringalopecia.org to be added to our recognized stylist and/or /salon list.

2023 National Patient Conference

SAF’s signature patient conference is being considered for the fall of 2023. Typically hosted every two years in-person, the COVID-19 pandemic cancelled SAF’s 2020 conference. This is an amazing opportunity to sign up as a vendor and showcase products, toppers, wigs, hair styling, and camouflaging live and cash-and-carry.
