Virtual Support Group Meetups

SAF invites you to attend our virtual support group meetings. Our virtual support group meetings provide an opportunity for patients around the world to connect, relate, and support each other through their scarring alopecia journey. Participation continues to grow with new sign ups every month. Meetings are held monthly and quarterly (depending on the specific group) and participants range from newly diagnosed to longtime members.

All Scarring Alopecia Types

Held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM EST for anyone experiencing scarring hair loss.

Held on the third Sunday every month at 2 PM EST for those diagnosed with CCCA.

One-on-One Support

For more one-on-one support opportunities, we have our patient outreach volunteer program (POV).

Our Patient Outreach Volunteer (POV) program matches our members and patients with veteran, qualified volunteers (POVs) who are long-standing members of SAF and have some form of scarring alopecia. Our POVs serve as a great introduction to the SAF community and help reduce patient anxiety and uncertainty while providing unbiased treatment and disease knowledge. You can speak to a POV either by phone or email by completing the form below.
