The National Scarring Alopecia Awareness Month (NSAAM) #NSAAM2021 was created to raise awareness, educate hair care professionals, and support those with scarring hair loss. The more recognition and consciousness about this rapidly increasing scarring alopecia (hair loss) condition, the more attention will be focused on research for better treatments and a cure. This year’s campaign – #LetsGetVisible will help SAF achieve these goals. We encourage you to participate in the following ways:
NSAAM 2021 Facebook Frame
Join SAF in promoting awareness and education about scarring hair loss within your social network. Simply login to Facebook, click “Update your Profile Pic” and select “Add Frame.” In the search box type “NSAAM 2021” and click to add it to your Facebook profile picture! Our dedicated staff and volunteers make supporting the scarring alopecia (hair loss) community possible. We operate on a limited budget funded solely from individual gifts, public donations, and membership fees. SAF does not receive financial support from pharmaceutical, industry or government sources.
